Use of anonymised user data

Graspway reserves the right to use the activity data of service users, after a process of anonymisation, to extract parameters, metrics or statistics related to the product that allow for the creation of internal reports on the functioning of the service, error reports, as well as other relevant reports to promote improvements in software quality and, therefore, improvements in the provision of the service.

As part of the proactive responsibility established in the GDPR, the anonymisation of user data pursues the protection of privacy from the beginning of the design of the information system or product used in the anonymisation process. Graspway applies all necessary measures to guarantee user privacy a priori, never a posteriori.

The data anonymisation process is performed by using the hashing algorithm technique, as a system that, when applied to a particular piece of data, generates a unique key that is used to represent that piece of data. Thus, this key replaces the original data in order to make it impossible to reconstruct the original data. The staff in charge of carrying out the anonymisation process and of processing this anonymised information are adequately trained and informed about their duties. In the anonymisation process, any identifiable data that is not considered necessary and cannot be anonymised will be deleted.
